The Maury Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees recently announced annual appointments to the board of trustees and advisory board. Bethany Lay, vice president for advancement and executive director of the Columbia State Community College Foundation, was among six new appointees to the advisory board.

Lay has been employed at the college since 2010 and in her role is responsible for leadership and management of the foundation and division of the college dedicated to resources and gift development. Lay received an Education Specialist in Administration and Supervision degree from Tennessee State University, a master of arts in curriculum and instruction degree from Concordia University Chicago and a bachelor of science in education from Freed-Hardeman College.
