Columbia State ESL Courses and Resources for Degree Seeking Students

ENGL 0802 ESL – a corequisite course designed to support students requiring Learning Support writing who would benefit from an ESL focused Learning Support Writing course. This course requires students be co-enrolled in the paired ENGL 1010 ESL course.

ENGL 1010 ESL
– a college level Composition I course that is paired as a corequisite course with ENGL 0802 ESL.

ESL 1000 Course - Columbia State offers a comprehensive ESL 1000 course to prepare students, whose first language is not English, for the challenges of writing-focused classes, including composition, literature, history, science and more. For more information please contact:  esl@columbiastate.edu

ESL Testing – for degree seeking students uncertain if ESL would support their educational goals, ESL testing is available at Columbia State’s Testing Services.
